Paleo Pizza Crust


This pizza crust (recipe adapted from Paleo Plan) has been a home run every time I’ve made it.  I love that it’s relatively easy to make, with minimal dishes AND it even tastes better the next day as cold leftovers.  Plus, it’s a “good-poo” food.


1-1/4 cups flaxseed meal
1 cup almond meal
1 t sea salt
2 t natural baking powder tapioca flour
2 t oregano or rosemary
2 eggs
3 T olive oil ( or melted coconut oil)
½ cup water
toppings of choice

1.  Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
2.  Combine dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
3.  Add eggs, oil and water, and mix until smooth.
4.  Grease a large cookie sheet or pizza pan, and pour batter and spread evenly.
5.  Bake for 15 minutes.
6.  Remove from oven and add toppings.
7.  Then return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
