Slow Cooked Chicken Biryani

Ingredients
Marinade
3-4″ ginger
6-7 cloves garlic
bunch of mint
bunch of cilantro
1/2 lime
1/2 onion
1 cup water
3 t cumin
3 t coriander powder
3 t masala powder
1 t turmeric
1 t cardamom
2 t chili powder
1/2 t nutmeg
1 t pepper
2 t sea salt
3 bay leaves
2″ cinnamon stick
6 cloves
2 c yogurt

4 lbs chicken
3 c basmati rice, rinsed
2 c water
4 T ghee

Directions
Blend marinade ingredients together. Place chicken on bottom of crockpot. Add rice, water, ghee, and marinade. Stir. Cook on high for 5 hours
